Puelche:

„The fall-wind blowing from the Andes“
In Chile we call this wind "Puelche".

We are a group of people
blown to Europe by this wind.

We want you to understand our traditions,
our way to dance, to celebrate and
we want to maintain and pass on
our mode of living.

That´s why the folkdancegroup Puelche
was established in 1995.

We show traditional dances and costumes
from all regions of our country Chile.

The dance called „Cueca“ is our national-dance,
showing the loving conquest of the women
by the charm and dexterity of the man.
